Enormous Stanley Spencer canvasses go on display for the first time at the newly opened Chatham Historic Dockyard. The old Smithery, which has undergone a £13 million restoration, is ventilated using Thermal Technology 'Recupovent' heat recovery units.
The once decaying Smithery building is now the centrepiece of the historic dockyard, and will be home to a huge collection of maritime artefacts.
The Recupovents are installed in the roof space above the gallery, and although the plant area is narrow, this attic space in the old bulding has plenty of height, and our double-stacked heat recovery units fit neaty, with central access.
